Tape syncs

As well as producing audio programmes, I enjoy recording tape syncs for radio shows and podcasts around London, Surrey and surrounding areas (I live in SW London).

I’ve recently recorded tape syncs for NPR’s Planet Money, WNYC’s On The Media, The Guardian’s Today in Focus and Business Insider’s Household Name, among others.

Equipment

  • Zoom H6 recorder

  • Rode NT3 microphone (a nice supercardioid condenser)

  • Rycote windscreen

  • Sony MDR-7506 headphones for monitoring, plus headset for guests

  • iPhone with Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, WhatsApp and Riverside
